How to Trim your Insoles

How to Trim your Insoles - 8 Easy Steps:

Step 1: Remove the Existing Insoles

If your shoes already have insoles, take them out before attempting to trim new ones. This will give you a more accurate idea of the space available inside the shoe.

Step 2: Now place the manufacturers insole over the footdisc insole ensuring the heels are flush.

Step 3: Now ensure that the both the manufacturer’s and currexSole insoles are flush around the ball of the big toe.

Step 4: Using a pen outline the manufacturers insole onto the currexSole insole.

Step 5: Using a sturdy pair of scissors cut along the outline.

Step 6: Now place the currexSole insole back into the footwear.

Step 7: Ensure that the ‘Auto Fit’ heel is settled into the heel cup.

Step 8: Lace up properly and enjoy.

Place the trimmed insoles back into your shoes and check the fit. Make sure they cover the entire bottom of the shoe and don't cause any discomfort.

TOP TIP

  • Most find their insoles be comfortable straight out of the box, however we highly recommend the following:
  • Break them in slowly.
  • Don’t run your full distance or at full pace for two weeks.
  • Slowly build up your pace and distance over those two weeks.
  • If you feel the Gel Dots through your socks – take time to break them in – they will smooth out to the shape of your toe.
  • If you run sockless please wear socks during the break in period.
