Product Technology

The first function of FOOTDISC is to stabilize the heel

In recent years, a growing number of research reports have shown that shoe design plays a crucial role in heel positioning. Therefore, the design of FOOTDISC insoles prioritizes heel stability and coverage. Its technology, called AUTO FIT, prioritizes heel support and is explained in the following three key points:

Autoheel

Reinforced heel shock absorption

The accumulation of heel bones and heel fat has the best shock absorption ability. FOOTDISC strengthens the coverage and protection to stabilize the heel and prevent fat from dispersing, allowing your heel to maximize its shock absorption ability.

Stable heel positioning

The design of stable heel positioning is to avoid injuries caused by improper speed and movement. FOOTDISC is based on different arches and leg cross-shaped judgments to achieve customized heel positioning.

Play the role of heel

An insole that is too hard or lacks elasticity will prevent your heel, forefoot, and shoe from becoming one, and from exerting their proper dynamic control, stability, and shock absorption performance. The elastic covering and three-dimensional cutting of FOOTDISC are the thoughtful features that we focus on in our design.

3D arch design

The patented 3D arch design adapts to various arch structures. Its unique rebound coefficient simulates the real arch, leveraging foot biomechanics to guide and drive correct dynamic foot movement, redistribute foot pressure, and reduce sports injuries. Unlike conventional rigid arch supports, which completely block the arch's function and may even cause secondary injury, FOOTDISC categorizes the arch into four types, providing more precise control over the support and shock absorption provided by each arch.

Three-layer lightweight material

DryTrek's unique fabric weave reduces friction during side-to-side movement, preventing blisters. The Freeflex memory foam shock-absorbing mid-layer deodorizes, prevents bacteria, and helps wick away perspiration. The memory foam cushion molds to your foot for increased comfort over time. The perforated rubber EVA bottom layer ensures air circulation and provides excellent overall shock absorption.

Strengthen the forefoot shock absorption

The second and third metatarsal bones (METARSAL CUSHIONING) require more shock absorption to prevent hallux valgus and forefoot pathology. With the shock absorber, the forefoot can get more shock absorption, especially during intense sports such as running, long jump, tennis, etc. FOOTDISC uses Poron®, which is currently the preferred shock absorption material.

Product deconstruction diagram:

  1. Biomechanical Heel Correction: Natural Heel Coverage
The FOOTDISC's heel cup design provides heel stability and support, adjusting the calcaneal angle without restricting the natural movement of the midfoot and heel.

  2. Three-layer design: A comfortable home for your feet.
The three-layer design promotes air circulation. The top layer is a moisture-wicking fabric to reduce sweat and odor; the middle layer is memory foam and bamboo charcoal, which remembers the shape of your foot to minimize the chance of blisters; the bottom layer is a unique hybrid outsole that gives your foot the space it needs.

  3. Soft yet powerful: Black 3D DBS (Dynamic Arch Support) arch support.
Traditional rigid insoles restrict your movements. FOOTDISC's patented 3D DBS dynamic arch support provides arch-like support. This soft-yet-firm material is flexible but not rigid, offering support and protection, adjusting your gait, distributing pressure and reducing excess burden on your feet. You'll feel like your feet are springing in, with an unprecedented, endless supply of power propelling you forward.

  4. Shock Absorption:
During intense exercise, the forefoot metatarsals are stretched especially tight and require extra protection. FOOTDISC utilizes world-leading Poron® shock-absorbing pads to achieve a truly effective pressure-reduction effect.
